Robert Scher, President and CEO
Rob leads the management team at Shoutback in providing the vision, culture, direction and accountability for the organization. Prior to Shoutback, Rob served as President of Scher Group since he founded the Performance Improvement Company in 1994, leveraging over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. Rob has broadened the products and customer base by developing e-learning products, organizational assessments, workplace compliance products, and other tools used by government and business. Rob’s direction at Scher Group was to keep the company focused on partnering with clients to help organizations improve their performance and consistency through effective training and leading edge technology. Rob has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University. Under Rob’s leadership, Scher Group has realized consistent growth and has been recognized as a Weatherhead 100 Outstanding Growth Company. Rob is a recognized speaker and expert in the field of e-learning and performance improvement. Rob has presented at such events including Realcomm’s International Commercial Real Estate Conference, ACTIF’s national auto rental conference, American Business Media’s Top Management Meeting and University of the Aftermarket as a keynote speaker.
Jon Paul, Director of Operations/Marketing
Jon has extensive experience growing business from early stage concept through product development, product management, direct marketing, database management, and direct sales across multiple industries. He is skilled in targeted Web 2.0, online and media advertising, direct mail, telemarketing, communications/PR and brand awareness. Jon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics and has a unique ability to communicate with diverse individuals to bring products from concept to implementation. He has launched over 400 new products, opened new markets in 14 countries, and introduced sales teams to 25 new vertical markets. With a background in healthcare and industrial/technical products as well as business services companies, Jon is experienced in strategic planning, out-of-the-box ideas and getting results.
Adina was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She received a B.A. from Hofstra University, and a M.S. in Information Science and Technology from Drexel University. Adina was a Systems Analyst for the City of New York, and went on to become Deputy Director of MIS for the Taxi & Limousine Commission. A move to Cleveland brought her Shoutback Concepts, where she is currently the Marketing Communications Manager. Adina is promoting Shoutback’s internet presence, maintaining the company’s website, and creating and sending e-newsletters.
Serge Dunaway, Accounting Manager
Serge Dunaway is a Cleveland raised business professional with backgrounds in accounting and management. Serge attended Case Western Reserve University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Serge has seven plus years of management experience in the movie exhibition industry and has transitioned into accounting in 2011 with Shoutback Concepts.
Laura Schultz, Client Services Manager
Laura Schultz is an Ohio girl, born and raised. She graduated from Youngstown State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She began her career working for a company that made church portrait directories. She moved on to become an assistant to the sales staff for The Post Newspapers in Medina, Ohio. She started working at Shoutback in June of 2010 as a Client Services Manager, where she specializes in customer service, editorial training, and graphic design.
John MacDonald, Brand Sales Manager – Offer Programs
John has an extensive background in both traditional and digital marketing and sales. He has successfully helped hundreds of businesses link traditional marketing with digital marketing to create a unified brand message. He started his career in telecommunications after graduating from Bowling Green State University in Marketing and has used his background to market businesses into the digital age through mobile applications, social media, and advanced digital marketing techniques.
Email Product Development Director
After completing his Master in Computer Science, he has developed an extensive knowledge of project and release management as demonstrated by more than 250 products being launched. Additional management skills are skillfully demonstrated in client management and business process - primarily in Medical, Sales and Banking vertical markets.
Specifications Team Leader
Leveraging his Masters with Business Management and extensive experience with application design and requirement gathering, he has developed an in-depth knowledge of comparative analysis in the Sales, Marketing and Medical domains. He has designed and managed more than 50 products during his career.
Mobile Development Team Leader
After completing a degree in Computer Science and subsequent 10 years experience in the development industry, he has demonstrated an extensive knowledge of mobile application development and management. Vertical industries with the most experience are sales and banking.
.Net Development Team Leader
Spanning a career where over 50 applications have been created using .net and flex development, he has demonstrated a sound knowledge base of Microsoft technologies; focusing on reporting and web application development.
